2nd Annual Fundraiser Gala for Ukraine

  • Gala seeks to raise further funding for Ukrainian Action’s programs in support of Ukraine, including deliveries of emergency support, humanitarian aid and rehabilitation program for military veterans

LONDON, UK. — Mar 8, 2024 — Ukrainian Action, a UK-registered charity and US non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the survival and recovery of Ukraine, has announced its second annual fundraiser gala dinner to support its work in Ukraine.


Since March 2022, Ukrainian Action has raised over £3 million and donated over 260 vehicles, 160 power generators and hundreds of truckloads of vital humanitarian, medical and protective supplies to Ukrainian heroes and victims of the war. In February 2024, our Ukrainian Action Heroes rehabilitation programs for military veterans was launched in the Carpathian Mountains.


Speakers include Mr Jack Lopresti, Member of Parliament for Filton and Bradley Stoke and Deputy Chair of the Conservative Party, Mr Eduard Fesko, Charge d'Affaires of the Ukrainian Embassy in the UK and Mr Bill Browder, American financier, activist, author and CEO and co-founder of Hermitage Capital Management, and originator of the Magnitsky Act. Francis Dearnley, host of The Telegraph's podcast 'Ukraine: The Latest' will host a lively discussion between the speakers.


The gala will also showcase a special musical performance by the legendary Ukrainian musician, vocalist, and composer Oleg Skrypka, leader of the rock band Vopli Vidoplyasova. The event expects to welcome 150 guests, mostly finance, energy, real estate and tech professionals from the City of London.


Last year, Ukrainian Action’s gala welcomed keynote speaker  Ambassador Vadym Prystaiko, Ukrainian Ambassador to the UK, and raised £85,000 for its programs in Ukraine, including the delivery of humanitarian aid and mental health support for victims of the war.
